How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 6.1.189, 6.6.158, 6.12.112, 6.18.55, 7.2.9 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure in the kvm_riscv_vcpu_hrtimer_expired process. An attacker can trigger a race condition leading to use-after-free by arming the timer with SBI TIME and requesting shutdown with SBI legacy shutdown or SRST, causing potential exposure of sensitive information or system instability.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
