How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 5.15.222, 6.1.189, 6.6.158, 6.12.112, 6.18.55, 7.2.9 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Release of Resource after Effective Lifetime in the virtio_gpu_resource_create_blob_ioctl process. An attacker can cause resource exhaustion by triggering error paths that prevent proper release of allocated objects, leading to memory and resource leaks.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
