How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 6.12.113, 6.18.57, 7.2.11 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Restriction of Operations within the Bounds of a Memory Buffer in the cipso_v4_skbuff_delattr process. An attacker can cause consumers such as ip_forward_options and __ip_options_echo to access incorrect memory locations by crafting packets with specific option arrangements, potentially leading to the copying of unintended packet data into fixed-size option storage.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
