Start learningUpgrade torvalds/linux to version 7.2.13 or higher.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference in the allocate_usb4_bandwidth_for_stream and allocate_usb4_bandwidth functions due to missing NULL checks on the stream->sink pointer. An attacker can cause a system crash or denial of service by triggering a scenario where stream->sink is NULL and subsequently dereferenced.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability.
