Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Race Condition due to insecure implementation in the memory subsystem's handling of the copy-on-write (COW) breakage of private read-only shared memory mappings. Exploiting this vulnerability allows an unprivileged, local user to gain write access to read-only memory mappings, increasing their privileges on the system.
