CWE-362  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 6.5-rc6 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Race Condition via the Secure Encrypted Virtualisation function. An attacker can trigger a stack overflow and cause a denial of service or potentially guest-to-host escape by exploiting a double fetch race condition vulnerability.

Note: This is only exploitable if the kernel configurations are without stack guard pages (CONFIG_VMAP_STACK).
