Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Race Condition through the pca953x_irq_bus_sync_unlock process. An attacker can cause the system to behave unpredictably by exploiting the race condition during the interrupt latch and mask settings. Exploiting this vulnerability is possible when the system is undergoing a reboot, which occurs approximately once per thousand reboots on an i.MX8MP based system.
