Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write via the fwu_bootloader_install_image() function due to improper checking of the authenticity and integrity of the image candidates. An attacker can overwrite stack memory and potentially alter program execution by providing a crafted Type-Length-Value (TLV) entry with an excessively large length field in the unprotected section of a firmware upgrade image.
