Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Integer Underflow (Wrap or Wraparound) in the tcp_rx_state_machine function. An attacker can cause a crash and potentially enable memory corruption by sending a specially crafted TCP SYN+ACK packet with a manipulated data offset field, resulting in a negative payload_len that is incorrectly processed and passed to memcpy. This is only exploitable if the CONFIG_LMB configuration is disabled.
