Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the vncWc2Mb process. An attacker can cause a process crash or potentially access sensitive information from adjacent memory regions by supplying a wide-character buffer that is not properly NUL-terminated, leading to an out-of-bounds read when wcslen() is called. This is only exploitable if the caller provides a non-NUL-terminated wide-character buffer, which is an abnormal usage scenario under typical Win32 API contracts.
