Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Excessive Platform Resource Consumption within a Loop via the name compression process. An attacker can cause excessive resource consumption and degrade performance by sending specially crafted DNS responses containing very large Resource Record Sets, ultimately leading to service disruption for legitimate DNS queries.
