Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Excessive Platform Resource Consumption within a Loop through the parsing of incoming queries containing an excessive number of EDNS options. An attacker can cause resource exhaustion and disrupt normal service by sending specially crafted queries that force threads to process large lists of options, potentially leading to service degradation or unavailability.
