The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling via improper validation of client-provided data length in the process handling DNS-over-QUIC connections. An attacker can cause excessive memory allocation and exhaust configured memory limits by sending specially crafted data, resulting in service unavailability for new clients. This is only exploitable if DNS-over-QUIC (DoQ) is enabled in the configuration.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling DNS-over-QUIC (DoQ) in the configuration and restarting the service.
