The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improperly Implemented Security Check for Standard via the handling of expired DNSSEC records. An attacker can cause temporary misresolution of legitimate DNS records by injecting replayed wildcard DNSSEC data, leading to the caching of poisoned records and potential information disclosure. This is only exploitable if the serve-expired configuration option is enabled.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling the serve-expired feature in the configuration.
