Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Redirection to Untrusted Site in the am_check_url() function in auth_mellon_util.c, which allows redirects to addresses beginning with ///. An attacker could hide a malicious URL in a redirect from a legitimate one (e.g. https://rp.example.co.jp/mellon/logout?ReturnTo=///fishing-site.example.com/logout.html) and cause a user to follow it unintentionally.
