Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the RESTORE command due to improper validation of serialized values. An attacker can achieve arbitrary code execution by supplying a crafted serialized payload when authenticated and permitted to execute RESTORE.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by restricting access to the RESTORE command using ACL rules.
