Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow in the NTLM authentication handler across multiple modules when processing malicious NTLM Type-2 challenges. An attacker can achieve remote code execution by sending a crafted NTLM Type-2 challenge containing an excessively long domain string, which causes base64-encoded response data to overflow a stack buffer.
