Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow in the build_stl_str_hl function when rendering a statusline with a multi-byte fill character on a very wide terminal. An attacker can cause unintended modification of adjacent memory or potentially execute arbitrary code by crafting a specially designed statusline and opening it in a terminal with sufficient width.
