Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference in the NFA regex engine when processing a collection containing a combining character as the endpoint of a character range. An attacker can cause a segmentation fault and potentially impact confidentiality, integrity, and availability by providing a specially crafted regular expression that triggers a NULL pointer dereference during regex compilation.
