Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Injection via the s:stepmatch function in the cucumber filetype plugin when processing step-definition patterns from .rb files located under features/*/ or stories/*/ directories. An attacker can execute arbitrary Ruby code and potentially arbitrary shell commands by supplying a crafted pattern in a repository, which is then evaluated when a user invokes a step-jump mapping.
