Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Integer Overflow or Wraparound via the VIOSockSelect function. An attacker can execute arbitrary code and escalate privileges by sending a specially crafted IOCTL request to the driver, which triggers an integer overflow and leads to a heap-based buffer overflow in the kernel.
