CWE-476  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade wazuh/wazuh to version 4.11.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference via the fim_fetch_attributes_state() function when it does not properly check if time_string is NULL before calling strlen() on it. An attacker can cause the analysisd process to crash and become unavailable by sending a specially crafted agent message to the wazuh manager.
