How to fix?

Upgrade wazuh/wazuh to version 4.5.3 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow due to improper handling of specific inputs that can lead to a stack overflow. An attacker can execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service by supplying oversized data to the affected function.

Workaround

Disable <log_format>multiline</log_format> or replace that with <log_format>multiline_regex</log_format>.
