There is no fixed version for westes/flex.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncontrolled Recursion via the mark_beginning_as_normal function in nfa.c file. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to cause a denial of service.

Notes

This vulnerability is not likely to be exploited.

In addition, the protection against exploitation is not to run flex setuid, which is already the default.
