Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow when processing attacker-controlled URL paths with filename restriction options enabled. An attacker can cause memory corruption, application crash, and potentially execute further malicious actions by enticing a user to invoke the application with a specially crafted URL. This is only exploitable if filename restriction options such as --restrict-file-names=windows, unix, or ascii are enabled and the user interacts with the application.
