How to fix?

A fix was pushed into the master branch but not yet published.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the convert_fname function when processing a server-supplied filename that requires character set conversion. An attacker can cause memory corruption and potentially crash the application by sending a maliciously crafted server response that triggers incorrect buffer reallocation.
