Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Access of Uninitialized Pointer via the decompress_snappy function, which should return false and report a decompression failure, rather than returning true without setting outputs. An attacker can cause a denial of service by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted capture file.
