Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write in the dissect_someip_sd_pdu_options() function of SOME/IP-SD protocol dissector. An attacker can cause the application to crash by convincing a user to open a specially crafted packet capture file or analyze malicious network traffic.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the opening of untrusted capture files or analyzing untrusted live network traffic, and by only processing network data from known and trusted sources.
