Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Reusing a Nonce, Key Pair in Encryption in the AES-GCM streaming APIs when processing cumulative single messages larger than 64 GiB. An attacker can recover plaintext data by exploiting counter wrap and keystream reuse during encryption or decryption of extremely large messages.
