Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature in the wolfSSL_PKCS7_verify process. An attacker can bypass content authentication by submitting a degenerate PKCS#7 object with no signer, causing the verification to succeed without validating any signature. This is only exploitable if the OpenSSL compatibility API is used to verify PKCS#7 bundles that may lack valid signatures.
