CWE-287  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade wolfSSL/wolfssh to version 5.9.2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Authentication due to the lack of SNI/ALPN binding verification during stateful TLS session resumption. An attacker can bypass authentication controls by resuming a cached session under a different SNI or ALPN context, potentially carrying peer-authentication state into a context for which it was not originally established. This is only exploitable if client-authentication policies differ across virtual hosts.
