CWE-325  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade wolfSSL/wolfssh to version 5.7.2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Encryption of Sensitive Data due to the incomplete parsing of the server hello message. An attacker can establish a connection using an unverified ciphersuite by exploiting the client's downgrade capability from TLS1.3 to TLS1.2. Note: This is only exploitable if the client has downgrade capability enabled.
