Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Critical Step in Authentication that allows an attacker in physical proximity to the victim to bypass the second phase of authentication by sending a spoofed EAP-TLV Success packet. This is possible if the victim device is configured to use PEAP authentication and has not enabled TLS certificate verification.
