Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Origin Validation Error. via improper input validation in the Navigation API. An attacker can access resources or data from a different origin by tricking a user into processing or loading malicious web content. This is only exploitable if the affected system is running a graphical interface and the user interacts with untrusted web content through applications that utilize the vulnerable component, such as GNOME-based applications.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the processing or loading of untrusted web content and, where feasible, removing dependent packages that require the vulnerable component.
