Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS). in the processing of web content due to improper checks. An attacker can execute arbitrary scripts in the context of the user's browser by tricking a user into visiting a maliciously crafted web page. This is only exploitable if the system has specific packages installed and is being used via a graphical interface to process untrusted web content, such as through GNOME.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by removing the packages that require WebKitGTK4 or WebKitGTK3, though this may impact system functionality.
