Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Exposure of Sensitive System Information to an Unauthorized Control Sphere. via improper state management in the authorization process. An attacker can obtain sensitive information about the user's environment by tricking a user into visiting a maliciously crafted web page. This is only exploitable if the affected packages are installed and used via a graphical interface to process untrusted web content, such as through GNOME.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding visits to untrusted web pages or loading untrusted web content, and by removing unnecessary packages that require the vulnerable component.
