Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow in the font alias resolution due to a name length mismatch between the X server and the associated library. An attacker can execute arbitrary code or escalate privileges by supplying a specially crafted font alias name that exceeds the expected buffer size, leading to memory corruption.
