Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow in the readEmbeddedFileTree(Object*) function in Catalog.cc. An attacker can trigger this by passing a PDF file containing an object loop to the pdfimages command.

NOTE: This appears to be the same vulnerability as the one described in CVE-2023-31557.
