Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling via the NVT_Analyzer component when processing FTP control sessions that negotiate AUTH GSSAPI and include a large ADAT control line. An attacker can exhaust system memory by sending specially crafted FTP commands that cause the internal buffer to grow without bounds during base64 decoding of attacker-controlled data.
