Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Release of Memory after Effective Lifetime via the z_vrfy_k_poll function. An attacker can exhaust the kernel resource pool by repeatedly triggering kernel heap allocations that are not properly freed, leading to system-level resource exhaustion and denial of service. This is only exploitable if an unprivileged user thread can spawn additional threads that inherit the parent's resource pool.
