Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read through the print_coredump_hdr function. An attacker can cause disclosure of device memory contents or a crash by providing a crafted stored coredump with an out-of-range tgt_code field, which leads to an out-of-bounds read when the value is used as an index into a fixed-size array. This is only exploitable if the attacker has local shell access and can stage or corrupt the stored coredump in the flash or in-memory backend.
