CVE-2016-0702  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-200  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade node to version 4.3.2, 5.7.1 or higher.

Overview

node is a JavaScript runtime built on Chrome's V8 JavaScript engine.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure. Both 2048-bit and 4096-bit RSA secret keys from OpenSSL can be recovered. This is despite the fact that OpenSSL's RSA implementation was carefully designed to be constant time in order to protect against cache-based (and other) side-channel attacks.
