CVE-2023-44487  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Wolfi prometheus-blackbox-exporter to version 0.24.0-r4 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream prometheus-blackbox-exporter package and not the prometheus-blackbox-exporter package as distributed by Wolfi. See How to fix? for Wolfi relevant fixed versions and status.

The HTTP/2 protocol allows a denial of service (server resource consumption) because request cancellation can reset many streams quickly, as exploited in the wild in August through October 2023.
