Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Symlink Attack via the process of applying ACLs or extended attributes. An attacker can modify file permissions or attributes of unintended files by exploiting a timing window to substitute a symlink at a predictable destination path between the file write and the subsequent acl_set_file or lsetxattr call.
