How to fix?

Upgrade github.com/sourcegraph/sourcegraph/enterprise/internal/codemonitors/background to version 3.37.0-rc.1 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure. An authenticated user can create many Code Monitors to receive confirmation that a specific string exists which allows the malicious user to guess formatted tokens in source code, such as API keys.

Note: This vulnerability is previously fixed in version 3.33.2 (CVE-2021-43823) and was reintroduced in versions 3.35 and 3.36.

There are fixes in Github in versions 3.35.2 and 3.36.3
