Overview

org.apache.shiro:shiro-core is a powerful and easy-to-use Java security framework that performs authentication, authorization, cryptography, and session management.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Sensitive Cookie in HTTPS Session Without "Secure" Attribute in the form of JSESSIONID and rememberMe cookies lacking that attribute in the default configuration, in DefaultSessionManager.java and DefaultWebSessionManager.java. An attacker in a MitM position on an HTTPS route that is also accessible via HTTP can intercept these cookies.
