The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Start learningUpgrade org.bouncycastle:bcprov-jdk15to18 to version 1.86 or higher.
org.bouncycastle:bcprov-jdk15to18 is a Java implementation of cryptographic algorithms.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling through the PBEPBKDF2 implementation in prov/src/main/java/org/bouncycastle/jcajce/provider/symmetric/PBEPBKDF2.java. An attacker can force excessive CPU work by supplying a PBES2/PBKDF2 structure or PBEKeySpec with a very large iteration count, causing engineInit or engineGenerateSecret to derive with whatever count it receives. The affected code accepts untrusted counts from encoded parameters and uses them directly for password-based key derivation, so decrypting or generating PBKDF2-protected keys can stall the application before the result is verified.
