How to fix?

Upgrade authlib to version 1.9.0 or higher.

Overview

authlib is a library in building OAuth and OpenID Connect servers.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization via multiple validation gaps across JWT Bearer grant handling and OIDC grants. In JWTBearerGrant.verify_claims, when get_audiences() returns an empty list, audience validation is skipped entirely rather than rejected, allowing an attacker to present a JWT assertion with any or no audience claim and have it accepted as valid. Separately, OIDHybridGrant and OpenIDImplicitGrant read scope from request.payload.scope instead of the resolved request.scope, meaning scope validation and token generation use an unresolved value that can diverge from the authorized scope. Additionally, OctetSequenceKey.get_op_key does not apply the unsafe-key marker check at retrieval time, only at import time, allowing a key containing unsafe PEM markers to be used after bypassing the import-time guard.
