Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow via improper validation of user-supplied data in the PSP file processing. An attacker can achieve denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary code by convincing a user to open a specially crafted PSP file. This is only exploitable if a user is persuaded to process a malicious PSP file.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by not opening PSP files from untrusted sources.
