Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write in the TIM image loader process. An attacker can cause the application to crash by enticing a local user to open a specially crafted TIM image file, resulting in a stack buffer overflow during the 4BPP decoding path.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the opening of untrusted TIM image files.
